Four years after Skye became the youngest president in history, and returned precious resources to her people, she had hoped this would mean the end of the war.

But there is still a threat.

An enemy once thought dead has returned from the grave to exact revenge, and he won’t rest until he gets what he wants.

In the quest to give herself some credibility despite her young age, and to defeat their enemy, Skye, Lukas and their friends devise a plan to distract their enemy using a decoy, while they go in for the kill.

But, when their plan goes south, Lukas and Skye must do whatever it takes to save their people and the world from ruin.

Even if it means betraying those they love the most.

In the thrilling conclusion to the Molten Heart Saga, when matters of the heart are concerned, risks will be taken.

~5 out of 5 Stars ~

This third and final installment of the Molten Heart Saga most certainly did not disappoint!  Full disclosure: I’m usually pretty hard on shorter stories or novellas (per Amazon, this one comes in at around 91 pages).  The reason is that in order for me to spend the money on a book that I’m going to read very quickly, there are higher standards that I look for.  I don’t want to feel like the story I read was rushed, that there were important parts skipped, and most importantly, I want to feel like I experienced a full length novel’s story.  This book 100% filled all of those criteria. It was incredibly impressive how much story was packed into just these 3 books.

At the end of book 2, I was really curious to see where the author would go with book 3.  I assumed it would be about growing pains a new, young President of what is basically a new country would go through.  Although this was partly the case, this was only a small part of it.  Once again, there were several twists – both big and small – that constantly kept me from being able to guess what was going to happen next.  This was a strong, exciting ending to the saga, and I was very happy how it ended.

My biggest take away from this book was that in my opinion, this was the strongest book in the saga.  There are often times where a story starts out strong, and by the end of the series it loses its momentum and isn’t as exciting as it was when it started. It sometimes feels like the last book is just tying up loose ends.  This is NOT something you have to worry about in this book.  It has all the excitement, worries and energy that the first two do.  I highly recommend reading this saga, as it is a great saga you can dive into, read in a day or two, and feel like you just spent years with these characters and this story.
